Amazon Cloud Player Updated With New Scan And Match Technology

Amazon has announced the roll out of a new updated to their Cloud Player this week which brings with it a number of new features and improvements for both free and paying customers.
Including high-quality 256 Kbps audio, for both songs you have imported previously and newly matched files, with are now automatically saved to Cloud Player for safe keeping.

Other new technology provided within the update includes a new scan and match feature that will automatically scan your library and automatically offer matched tracks. Music tracks purchased via Amazon’s MP3 Store will now also show up in your Player automatically.
Amazon offer both free and premium service for their Cloud Player, with free Cloud Player customers able to import up to 250 songs from their PC or Mac to Cloud Player, all at no charge, and Premium customers with 250,000 imports into in Cloud Player for an annual fee of $24.99.
